Set up PRD writing guidelines

In the incubator arm, product and developer teams are specific to the products we build. However, designers, both UI and UX, are centralized. Because of this, as a PM, I needed to ensure that documentation was done well and served not only the people I spoke with day to day, but also designers from a central team that could change depending on resourcing.
I refined how I wrote my PRDs through constant feedback and the designers started using my PRDs as an example of how PRDs should be written in the organization. That made me happy. As the team grew, it was not enough that other PMs used my PRDs as a reference — they wanted to understand better how I crafted my PRDs, especially for new PMs to the team.
